1. Definitions
1.1 “Company” means The Wedding Shortlist Ltd.
1.2 “Website” means www.theweddingshortlist.co.uk.
1.3 “Venue” means the wedding venue granted a profile page on the Website.
1.4 “Profile Page” means the branded online page provided by the Company for a Venue.
2. Venue Profile Pages
2.1 Each approved Venue receives a free branded Profile Page on the Website.
2.2 The Profile Page displays:
• The Venue’s name, photo, a short description and a link to their website.
• Exceptional local wedding professionals from the Venue’s county, listed by category.
3. Reciprocal Link
3.1 In return for a free Profile Page, the Venue agrees to add a reciprocal link from its' own website to the Website.
3.2 The link is usually placed on the Venue’s contact page or recommended suppliers page, but alternative placement may be agreed.
3.3 If the reciprocal link is removed without agreement, the Company reserves the right to suspend or remove the Venue’s Profile Page.
4. Venue Obligations
4.1 The Venue warrants that any information it provides is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.
4.2 The Venue must promptly notify the Company of any changes to its' details to keep the Profile Page current.
4.3 The Venue warrants that it has the right to use any photos, logos, or materials it submits for publication.
5. Company Rights
5.1 The Company reserves the right to edit or remove any Venue content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or inconsistent with its standards.
5.2 The Company does not guarantee any specific level of enquiries, referrals, or bookings as a result of a Profile Page.
6. Liability
6.1 The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from a Venue’s use of the Website, except where required by law.
6.2 The Venue indemnifies the Company against any claims relating to materials or information it has provided.
7. Termination
7.1 The Company may suspend or remove a Venue’s Profile Page immediately if these Terms are breached.
7.2 The Company reserves the right to suspend or remove any Venue’s listing at its sole discretion if it believes that continued inclusion may damage the integrity, reputation, or values of The Wedding Shortlist, regardless of whether these Terms have been formally breached.
7.3 Either party may request removal of the Profile Page by written notice.
8. Changes to Terms
8.1 The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified on the Website.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
9.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
