We do the due diligence to save you days of research - and so you can browse more confidently. Every professional is carefully assessed against strict criteria, so you don’t have to sift through dozens and dozens of unchecked listings. With only 16 wedding professionals per category per county - and listings reshuffled every page load for fairness - you get genuine curated choice.

It’s very important to remember that with other directories’ higher ranked listings have to be bought. This doesn’t mean they’re the best options - it just means more has been paid to be seen sooner.

How often is The Wedding Shortlist updated?

Our shortlists are updated every six months. This ensures all our listed wedding professionals are maintaining exceptional levels of service and so that engaged couples will always see the best up-to-date options. It also gives additional wedding professionals the opportunity to join and keeps the process competitive.

Do engaged couples have to pay to use The Wedding Shortlist?

Do wedding professionals have to pay to use The Wedding Shortlist?

For our initial six-month listings, the first 16 wedding professionals in each category/county who pass our assessment get a FREE entry.

For every subsequent six months, a free entry will be awarded to the eight highest scoring applicants in our assessment, in each category/county. In addition to the our eight free entries another eight will be available (no obligation), to those who also pass our assessment, at £84 for a six-month paid listing.

Why are there only up to 16 wedding professionals per category per county?

Because The Wedding Shortlist is designed to be selective, not overloaded. Capping each category at 16 listings ensures genuine choice for couples without being overwhelming. It also makes every listing more valuable and keeps competition healthy and fair among our wedding professionals.

Do you cover every wedding service in your listings?

We will, but currently we're focussing on the most in-demand categories. In each county a category will only be activated where at least eight qualifying professionals apply, ensuring genuine choice for couples.

How can I contact your wedding professionals directly?

All listings include a link to each wedding professional’s website. so couples can reach out to them directly, without ever paying any fees. This keeps communication simple, transparent and personal - exactly how it should be when planning your wedding!

Can I nominate a wedding business to be included in The Wedding Shortlist?

Yes! We welcome nominations from both couples and venues. If you’ve had a great experience with a wedding professional, email us to recommend them. They will then be invited to apply through our assessment process. Only those who meet our high standards will be shortlisted - keeping our unique directory fair and trustworthy.
