The Wedding Shortlist. How We Shortlist Wedding Professionals.

Planning a wedding involves days spent contacting suppliers and checking credentials. With possibly up to 20 services to book, that could be around 40 hours of research - and with no guarantee you’ll definitely find the right people. Particularly as reviews don't always tell the whole story - and independent studies indicate up to 30% of reviews may actually be fake or manipulated.

The good news is we’ve done the due diligence for you! We thoroughly assess wedding professionals and limit listings to just 16 quality wedding professionals per category per county.

Round One
As a starting point, wedding professionals must have at least three years’ wedding industry experience and be able to answer ‘yes’ to one of these questions: ‍

Are you a wedding venue preferred supplier?

Or, do you have over 25 five star Google reviews?

‍Or, have you been a wedding awards finalist in the UK?

Round Two
Wedding professionals then complete our thorough online assessment, which is scored on:

‍Experience, Reputation, Professionalism, Reliability, Location, Communication & Standards.

Our assessment process ensures we only shortlist the most exceptional, local wedding professionals.
